For a community to embrace the new digital skills it is important to lead by example. Jersey’s Chief Minister Senator Ian Gorst was happy to be trained by CodexDLD.

Jordan trained him in HTML and CSS whilst Richard gave him an update on the training initiative which was helping the unemployed to gain coding skills.

When asked about coding The Chief Minister said “Let’s accept the change is coming and let’s be at the forefront… let’s not be afraid… let’s embrace it” – Senator Ian Gorst, Chief Minister, Jersey
