Jordan and Richard describe their working day. It starts with 90 minutes in the gym making decisions and lifting weights! Their boardroom is usually the terrace of a hotel or the beach! Running a start-up is not a regular 9-5 job.

When former headteacher Richard Rolfe was recovering from cancer he bumped into one of his ex-students Jordan Love. After discovering he was a web designer, Richard decided to learn how to write computer code. It was after this life changing decision that Jordan and Richard decided to train a number of unemployed people in Jersey. They taught the delegates coding skills which eventually led to most of them getting paid employment.

“Our gym meetings last more than an hour… they are best summed up as: lift weights, rest a minute, make a decision, record it electronically and lift weights again. A very productive and lean way of working.” – Richard Rolfe, Co-Founder CodexDLD
